735 m high, Prats de Mollo La Preste, small village of the Pyrénées-Orientales, 13 km from Spain, hangs its picturesque quarters on the south foothills of the Canigou massif and welcomes you at the feet of Costabonne. Built in a site of mountains, the Royal City and Fortified town are marked by the works of Vauban and suggests combining nature and heritage (for the biggest pleasure of all).

Fortified city, quiet and picturesque, shielded by a circus of high mountains (Canigou) and which offers itself widely to the Mediterranean sun, it is situated 7 km away from the health resort called La Preste. It has 1080 inhabitants.

This magnificent green region welcomes lovers of nature, sports and history. You can thus organize your holidays with hikes (300 km of marked out paths from 700 m to 2464 m high), visits of sites (Fort Lagarde, the fortified church, the gorges of La Fou), sports with acro-branch, canyoning, cycling, without forgetting the fishing of the trout, since Prats de Mollo is the only place in France where the rainbow trout is still reproducing itself.
